SHE Resource Hub is led by Amanda Afaf Gharbia, an Occupational Safety, Health & Environment (OSH&E) professional specializing in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, safety management systems, and workplace risk management. She has over 13 years of professional experience supporting and managing safety, health, and environmental programs across U.S. government construction, infrastructure, and high-risk operational environments.

Her work includes the development and implementation of safety systems aligned with OSHA standards, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 requirements, and ISO management systems, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001. Amanda is an OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer, Construction & General Industry, and a Certified American Red Cross Instructor for First Aid / CPR / AED, delivering structured training programs that support workforce safety, compliance, and professional development. She integrates field-based experience with academic knowledge, supporting the development of structured safety training programs, compliance systems, and practical safety solutions for organizations and professionals.
